JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Person to join our team. Our drivers follow a daily schedule and transport appliances to the assigned routes. The ideal candidate must be willing to work as part of a team to ensure that all items are safely delivered to our customers. To succeed as a delivery person, you should be polite and committed to provide our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, diligent towards work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivering appliances and electronics to our clients in a safe, timely manner.
- Reviewing invoices to ensure that orders are completely delivered, payment terms are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Receiving payments for delivered items.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by transportation laws and adhering to road safety measures
- Communicating with customers in a polite manner
- Connecting appliances such as fridges, washing machines, dishwashers and tumble dryers.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A valid ‘C category’ driver’s license.
- Driving skills and willigness to adhere to road safety measures and regulations
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate in Maltese & English
Nice to HAVE
- Previous experience as a delivery person
- Familiarity with road networks in Malta & Gozo
